ANK Austria Coin Catalogue 2026

All Austrian coins from 1740 onwards and banknotes from 1759 onwards are recorded, valued and illustrated in colour. The coin catalogue contains all coins from the period of Emperor Franz I. Stephan with misprints, samples and special features as well as the Austrian banknotes including the provincial editions 1918 to 1921 and emergency money editions of the individual towns.

The work therefore includes the issues of the Empire, the crown and Schilling currencies of the First and Second Republic, Austria in the Third Reich, the euro currency with the circulation coins of all euro countries and the commemorative euro coins for Austria as well as the Austrian numismatic letters.

Furthermore, the gold coins of the time of Maria Theresa are catalogued, depicted and evaluated. The extensive chapter Maria Theresa will be successively extended and expanded in the coming editions. The work therefore includes the editions of the Empire, the crown and Schilling currencies of the First and Second Republic, Austria in the Third Reich, the Euro currency with the circulation coins of all Euro countries and the Euro commemorative coins (including the new 1.50 Euro and 3 Euro commemorative coins) for Austria as well as the Austrian numismatic letters.

Furthermore, all zero euro notes (souvenir notes) of Austria are recorded, valued and depicted.
Gold coins Maria Theresia catalogues, depicts and evaluates. The auction results of recent years have been included in the valuation. The zero euro "Souvenir notes" of Austria, which were issued for the first time in 2017, were also newly included.
